The two Memoranda of Understanding establish separate but complementary areas of collaboration, through which EM Engineering and the respective organisations will explore opportunities in digital estate and community management, smart facilities management and technology-enabled operational solutions.

Both organisations will explore how technology can support the way estate information, processes and services are managed, with a focus on areas such as operational efficiency, service delivery and stakeholder experience. By combining MRI Software’s technology capabilities with EM Engineering’s operational and domain expertise, the collaboration will also identify opportunities for practical, technology-enabled solutions that can support evolving estate management needs.
Advancing smart facilities capabilities with SoftGrid
With SoftGrid, EM Engineering will explore opportunities to assess SoftGrid’s AI platform in deploying smart facilities management and digital intelligence technologies across future projects. Initial areas of collaboration include intelligent lift monitoring, smart building systems, and integrated facilities management, alongside other mutually agreed initiatives.
SoftGrid brings capabilities in areas such as vendor-agnostic AI, predictive intelligence, edge IoT and data-driven monitoring, while EM Engineering contributes its engineering, systems integration and operational expertise.
