Mr Tang Weng Sing was appointed Chief Digital Officer of EM Services on 1 September 2026. He brings more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership, digital transformation and innovation.

Prior to joining EM Services, Mr Tang held senior technology management roles at Asia Pacific Resources International Limited, NEC Corporation, IBM and CrimsonLogic, where he led enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives and delivered technology solutions across a range of business environments.

At EM Services, Mr Tang leads the Digital Pillar of the Company’s transformation strategy and oversees the Technology & Information Corporate Support Unit. He is responsible for strengthening EM Services’ digital capabilities and advancing technology as an enabler of the Company’s transformation and growth.

Mr Tang’s expertise spans solution architecture, complex systems integration, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing, digital identity and video analytics. He is an avid inventor with more than 20 granted patents and has received industry recognition including the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards and ZDNet Asia R&D Champion of the Year.

He holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and a Bachelor of Science with Merit in Information Systems and Computer Science, both from the National University of Singapore.

In his personal time, Mr Tang loves to keep his body and mind active by engaging in jogging, swimming, cycling and table-tennis and reading voraciously in areas that interest him.
