Tze Chyn leads the Corporate Development as well as the Technology & Information divisions. Concurrently, he is the Group Data Protection Officer and has started EM Services on its sustainability reporting journey.

His professional background encompasses a unique blend of skills, encompassing project and facility management roles, alongside his involvement in technology-related initiatives within the built environment sector.

Tze Chyn began his career as a quantity surveyor and joined the project management department of the HDB subsequently. Intrigued by the dotcom boom of the late nineties, he made a career shift with a startup company specialising in designing cyber showrooms with patented multimedia compression technology.

He furthered his IT career at Premas International Limited’s information systems department. Following this, he assumed leadership roles, including overseeing industry development at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and managing procurement activities at One Marina Property Services Pte Ltd. Within the EM Services group, Tze Chyn held various positions, including Managing Director of E M Real Estate Pte Ltd and E M Learning Pte Ltd.

Tze Chyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building and a Master of Technology in Knowledge Engineering from the National University of Singapore. During his leisure time, he enjoys reading mystery novels and tackling minor household repairs.
