Singapore International Facility Management Association (SIFMA) Facilities Management Expert Summit (FMES) 2021

FM industry partners gathered on 8 December 2021 at the FMES 2021 event with MOS Tan Kiat How as Guest-of-Honour. He addressed the efforts and commended SIFMA for raising the competencies of FM firms through Certified FM Companies (CFMC) accreditation scheme and commissioning of the Singapore FM landscape study, which will chart the course for FM transformation.

“See Space Differently” Campaign was also launched at the event. This campaign aims to raise awareness of the roles and impacts of the facilities management and its strategic importance in built environment. The goals were to shift perceptions of the FM sector from operational to strategic and reposition the FM sector as critical to long-term value enhancement of the built environment. SIFMA will work with industry players and other ecosystem stakeholders to accelerate the sector’s transformation and see space differently.

Alongside MOS Tan Kiat How, EM Services’ CEO and President of SIFMA, Mr Tony Khoo and Group Director of BCA (Environmental Sustainability), Mr Ang Kian Seng were part of the panellist for the “See Space Differently” dialogue that was facilitated by Mr Frank Ngoh, GM of TTC and Honorary Secretary of SIFMA.

The summit concluded successfully after giving out SIFMA FMES Awards for 2021. EM Services Pte Ltd received two awards:
